Refresh Constraints in MS Project

Hello,

I am new to MS Project, and I'm encountering a frustrating problem. In
part of my project, I have created 4 project tasks, all of which are
set to the constraint "as soon as possible." They are also all
connected by finish-to-start links, so Task 2 can't start until Task 1
finishes, etc. For some reason, I have to set the dates manually.
Task 2 isn't starting as soon as possible after Task 1 finishes.
However, if I change the task durations, the dates automatically
change. How can I refresh the constraints? Does anyone have any ideas
about the problem here?

Click Tools - Options and select the Calculation tab. Is calculation set to
Automatic? If not, set it to Automatic. Hope this helps.
