Refresh Drop down results in form?

I use a db that has a lot of related fields. In many of my forms, I have
fields that are actually db results (drop down). Next to those fields, there
is an option for the user to add a new record to the table that relates to
the results field. Anyway, when the user completes the form, then gets to
the drop down field, if they need to add a new option, then the option
doesn't show up unless the page is refreshed. Of course, when the page is
refreshed, all the info they just entered is gone. Can I allow them to just
refresh that field. I have a few sloppy ways around this, but I'm really
hoping there is a better way.

Thanks for the help.

When you process the form, pass the values entered to the next form (same page)

Is that complicated? Does microsoft have any how to's on that, or do you by
chance know of anyone who does?
Thanks.
