Refusing Office Update?

Office Update (2003) keeps offering me the French dictionary and Thesaurus
update - I don't want it! How do I tell OU that I don't want it and to stop
telling me it's available?

You may not want it but the function is available in all Englsih versions of
Office and has a hole that is potentially exploitable, even if you never use
the options.

After furious head-scratching, Gordon asked this group:

Thanks - all the information at Microsoft tells me that the exploitations
are linked to French, Dutch and Hungarian proofing tools and functions of
the Multi-language pack. as I have NONE of those installed, I do NOT need
this fix. There should be a procedure to tell Office Update that I do NOT
need this patch.
Office is big enough without being constantly reminded of patches that are
NOT needed.
