registration hell...help?

hey guys! i replaced an existing version of office xp (which was missing a
few elements) with another complete version only to find out i am now unable
to register it because it is already registered on another computer. is
there a way to uninstall and get my original, registered version back or am i
SOL? i've tried to contact microsoft but i am told to contact my computer
manufacturer for help. LAME. thanks in advance!

If you are trying to reactivate the same version of Office XP reinstalled on
the same machine then use the phone option to activate.
