Reinstall Office 2003

I have been trying to repair my Office 2003 Professional installation, but it
fails every time due to a fatal error. So I'd like to try reinstalling Office
to fix this problem. However, I'm concerned about activation--will I have to
activate Office again if I reinstall? I don't think my product key allows any
more installations.

Actually, the reason I want to reinstall is related to the trouble outlined
in the OFFICE 2003 INSTALL PROBLEM post--my Office updates have failed, and I
can't install an Excel add-in I need to use. I also need to install the
Office primary interop assemblies so I can use the Visual Studio Tools for
Office, but when I try to change my Office installation with the "Choose
advanced customization of applications" option (as outlined in a How to doc
from MSDN), the installation fails.
