reinstall Office XP after system recovery

Office came with computer. Upgraded to Office XP Standard
with purchased Upgrade CD. Had to do system recovery.
Lost all programs. When trying to re-install from this
upgrade CD, its saying it can't find the appropriate
product on my computer to allow the upgrade. Do I have
to purchase the full Office version now?
