Reinstall problems

I just replaced my hard drive, losing all my programs -- including the ones
preinstalled by Dell (MS Office XP Pro and Publisher). I have the original
disks but install wizard won't accept the product key codes that are printed
on the back. Dell won't /can't help and I can't get through the MS screens
to even tell them my problem. Can anyone give me a clue? I have the 2002
versions of both programs.
