Reinstallation of purchases

I own a key code for Microsoft Office Home & Student but I no longer have the
CD. I had to restore my computer, now I need to reinstall the Office
software. Can I download in from the internet as a trial and then use my key
code to unlock it instead of the 60 day key code I received?

No, you need the CD for the installation. The downloaded version can't be
activated with the key you have.

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246/en-gb for help in replacing the
CD.

I have Office Home and Student 2007. At the time I installed it I only
needed Word and Excel, so I unstalled all the rest of the programs on the
disk. Now I need to use PowerPoint. If I reinstall the disk, will I lose
all my documents on Word and Excel? Also will I have problems using my
product key, even though it's on the same computer?
