Reinstallation of Win xp and MS office XP pro

Hi Elmurado,

The problem has been resolved by microsoft aust techs. After a few phone
calls (I was unsuccessful with msoft online assistance...for reasons yet to
be determined)

The problem was that a file 'officeav.dll' (part of nortons/symantec) was
preventing these files from opening. After Nortons suite of products
corrupted my registry files initially, and now this..they have no hope to be
used or recommended by myself again..

Thanks again for your efforts.
