Reinstalling MS Office XP (FL)

B

Beth Bailey

I just installed and registered MS Office XP and am
currently using Outlook Express, as per my Internet
Provider (cable modem). The installation created a
conflict with Express -making all the buttons disappear
and the pull down menus not work. I called my ISP..then
my PC manufacturer. He told me to do a restore of my
system to a prior time to the Office installation. My
question: when I reinstall my version of office, will I
have to re-register? Will I get a message saying it is
previously registered? I do not want to proceed until
advised. I appreciate your feedback.

Since you already registered it once, it will say that it has been
registered. When prompted to register, select the telephone method to
activate the software.

As for having to redo the machine, what version of the Operating System are
you using? If Windows XP, either Home or Professional, try a system restore
before wiping the box.
