I plan to reinstall Windows XP from scratch sometime before the end of
the year. I will have to reinstall Office 2003 I suppose and wonder if
there is any way I can save all the customization, templates, dot file,
etc., of 2003 I have done and import them into the newly installed one.
I will have an up to date Ghost image of my present system out on
another HD. All of the customization will be in it. The File and
Transfer Wizard is one approach but I can't help be think the Ghost
image has all of the info I need in it. Suppose I retrieve the complete
Office 2003 directory from the image and put it in place of the newly
installed one?
I am very open to suggestion about how to get my newly installed Office
2003 to look like my present one. The same goes for Quicken if anyone
here knows about that.
Thank you very much.
