Reinstalling Office 2007 on a Wiped Machine

I have a copy of Office 2007 Home & Student that I run on both my desktop and
laptop computers. Both HP, both Vista. The laptop is a Pavillion dv9000
custom-to-order notebook from mid-2007. It's about as usefull as a $1500
paperweight right now, and I'm probably going to completely wipe and restore
the machine with its original settings. (Yes, it is a software problem, not
hardware. And no, System Restore has not been able to help me.)

Office 2007 H&S came with licences to install it on three different
computers. If I wipe my laptop and then reinstall Office, will it recognize
somehow that this is the same machine that it was previously installed on, or
will it use up my third and last license? I would be really disappointed if
the laptop crashed again and I lost my last license for Office 2007.

The licences is for the number of PC's its currently installed on, that is
working PC's
Depending on when you origonally installed you may have to use phone
activation

If it's the retail or OEM, you can reinstall many times, you might have
to call to validate, but you can reinstall as often as needed.
