Reinstalling Office 97 on XP home edition

I got a new system with XP installed. I want to load my office 97 Pro on my
new computer. It asks for an 11 digit product key. The product key I have
from the disk is a 21 numeric key. How can I get it to take my key like it
did on my old 98 system?
