remote control will not forward slides in presenter mode PP2003

I have just updated to PP2003 and everything works well except using the
remote with my projector - it will not advance slides. All other options on
the remote work OK.
Another wireless USB remote will not work either

Thanks for getting back to me - I should have been more specific in my
original post.
The two remotes work perfectly EXCEPT when the PRESENTER view box is checked.
I can move the slides using the arrows showing in the presenter screen but
all that happens when I try to use the remote is that the NOTES part of the
screen goes on or off each time I try to advance a slide.

Both remptes work well in PPT2000 it is only when using 2003 that I have the
problem
