remove design template

How do I remove a design template from my presentation. I
don't want any background on the slides. I expected that
on the list o templates there would be a choice of NONE
or BLANK. No such luck.

Create a default "blank" presentation with your own defaults

Once you've created a blank template, you can apply it to your existing
presentations.
