Remove item from Globel Address List

does anyonw know how to remove a contact from the Globel Address List. I
created some test contact folders in the public folders and after i deleted
them from the public folders still show in the globel address list...how can
i remove them?

Public folders have nothing to do with the GAL. You would need to remove the
entry from the GAL itself -- Active Directory Users if you're using AD.

it turns out that outlook was running in cached mode. unchecked it and it
did work like a charm
