Someone gave me a used computer with MS Office 2000 for Small Business on it
and I cannot run updates from MS or uninstall it because it wants the
original disks which are not available to me. I have MS Office 2000 Pro but
cannot install it because of the existing program - which I manually deleted
- wnet through the registry with reg first aid and got rid og all the
references to it - to no avail. How do I get whatever is still hiding there
OFF?

Thanks - but I already found that one and I had already done all that on my
own - unfortunately something was still in there somewhere because when I
tried again to install my legal copy It still would not let me. I finally
saved everything I didn't want to lose and reformatted the hard drive and
installed everything I wanted again. It's working great now.
