plz explain to me how to remove the shortcut bar that appears on the desktop during setup.

the
option to "exit" but doesn't give me the option to not have it come up the
next time, so every time I reboot the dang thing comes back again. How do
I
get rid of it? I'm on windows XP.

None of that worked. Any other ideas?Tim said:It's been a while since I used Office 2000 so I can't confirm...but try
running "msconfig." There might be an entry in there for the shortcut
bar...just de-select it. Or check the Startup folder (both of them...the All
Users and the one for your account).

that includes this feature, but you don't want it. Go figure...
