Remove the underline from hyperlinks

I want to have hyperlinks in a PowerPoint presentation but I do not want them
to be underlined. Is there anyway to format the hyperlink to remove the
underline but maintain the hyperlink function? I would also like to know if
this is possible in Word documents also.

Hi

Glenna has given you the powerpoint answer, as for word you need to modify
the style called 'hyperlink'. How you do this depends on your version; for
2003 see here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/word/HP051895621033.aspx;
and for 2007 see here:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-au/word/HP012265171033.aspx?pid=CH100970201033

If you've never seen styles before in Word then do the free microsoft
training on them
(http://office.microsoft.com/training/training.aspx?AssetID=RC011039261033) -
they are THE most important concept in Word (in my opinion).

Thanks, I'll have a go at this. I was hoping that there would be a direct
hyperlink formatting option on the text but it seems this doesn't exist yet.

Really? Well I feel pretty dim now... Stoopid blonde hair. I was sure the
first file I made using hyperlinks went all mangled and then I switched the
links to autoshapes and it all got fixed...must be imagining things.

Thyanks for setting me straight :)
