removing Office 2000

Bill

I am trying to remove Office 2000 and its telling me to insert disk "Office SR1" before it will do anything else. I know this is the update I applied many years ago and I recall downloading it from the Office update site. So how do I insert this SR-1 update disk. If I insert my master Office 2000 disks it tells me they are the wrong ones
Similarly, If I try to re-install Office 2000 off my master CD's it tellms me that they are "not the correct patch disks

Clearly it got itself hing-up on this SR-1 update stuff and untill I can get past that thing I can't use any part of Office, update it, or delete it

Help .. any idseas anyone ?

Sounds like you will need to remove it manually first before you can do
anything else.
