Removing spaces

Hi there,

I have data that has been imported into excel, however
when it imports it imports "extra" spaces after the
data. How do I remove the extra "spaces" I tried using
the trim formula, but couldn't get it to work. Your
assistance is appreicated.

Hi,

Trim should be able to do that. Otherwise select that cell & do Find &
replace - In the "Find what:" Just press space once & in "Replace with"
dont enter anything .It will remove all the spaces.

Hi there,

If I use the Trim feature, and I have the 1500 rows of
information in Column A, should I then insert a column
and create the Trim forumla in Column B.
