Removing Specific Page Numbers.

B

Ben

Hello All,

I have a question. I have a 60-some-odd page report,
and I do not want the first 5 pages numbered. I tried to
use section breaks, and only number the pages after the
section break. This just makes the page numbers start
over at one when it hits the section break. Can anyone
tell me how to hide/remove the page numbers from the
first few pages? I just need it to start at '1' on the
fifth page and have the first four pages without page
numbers.

Thank You,

Ben

Hi Ben,

I'm assuming this is in Word. If so see if this
article helps:
http://mvps.org/word/FAQs/Numbering/PageNumbering.htm

For additional assitance with page numbering in Word you
may want to also post in
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.word.numbering

and include the version of Word that you're using.
