Renaming buttons of created macros

I have created a macro named, say, "sales", but the button name appears as
"normal.new macros.sales". How can I have this appear as "sales" only.

I'm using Office Prof 2003. I recall with earlier Word versions, it was a
right click, then the name could be change in the drop down menu, but this
seems no longer to work.

Your memory has dropped a step. Right-click any toolbar. Select Customize
from popup menu. *Then* right-click the button.

Marvellous.....I was right clicking on the name of the macro in the pop-up
