repeat key

In excel you are able to repeat an action you are doing with the F4 key. Is
there a similar action in Publisher? The F4 key does not work.

No...
Select an object, text box or highlighted text... whatever, press the control
key while dragging, the cursor will have a + sign, this will produce a
duplicate.
