Repeat Master Title 2

My question was partially answered by Sonia. In following that instruction I
have encountered the following problem: Prior to my initial inquiry I had
already tried something similar to that with limited success. On the Slide
Master I had put a text box within the default text box (another time I
simply deleted the default text box then did a new one) and thought I had
accomplished what I wanted. The problem, however, occurred when I returned
to the body of the presentation. Each time I pulled up a new slide the
default text "Click to Edit", etc. was overlapping my new Slide Master
title/text. In some instances the remnants of the deleted text box would be
on the new slide. Need more help. Thank you.

The placeholders (Click to Edit) that you are referring to appear on a slide
based on the Slide Layout you select. Try this as a test to see how they work:

1. Go to View > Master > Slide Master and you'll see two large placeholders,
one for a slide title and one for the slide content. You can't get rid of
either one really. Add your own text box with the desired text in it for your
slide title. You can put the text on top of a placeholder or you can shrink and
move the placeholders if you want. But the text goes in a new textbox, not in a
placeholder.

2. Now, go to View > Normal

3. Now, highlight a slide and go to Format > Slide Layout. In the task pane,
select the blank layout and watch what happens. The text you see should just be
the title you added to the Master.

Pick the layout for "Title Only" and now you'll see a title placeholder plus
the title you added to the Master. Go to View > Show and you'll only see the
title you added to the Master.

4. Play with this and you'll soon see the distinction between placeholders,
slide layouts, and slide masters.
