Repetetive "Preparing to install..." message, incessantly

I've used MS Office (version 2002) for almost two years
without problems. Suddenly I'm getting a dialog box
about every 10 seconds that says to "install service pack
CD 1 now". But after trying each of the three disks that
came with the package (installation, content, training) I
get the response: "wrong disk".!!!! I just can't figure
out what to do next and I can't stop the pop-ups. Any
solution to this.?????????? Nick T
