Replacing Office XP with Office 2003

Hello !
I am a little hesitant to start installing my recently acquired OFFICE 2003
STANDARD on a machine which presently has OFFICE XP STANDARD (OS is Windows
XP Pro SP2).
Do I simply install OFFICE 2003 "over" the existing OFFICE XP, and will my
Outlook accounts, folders and files be conserved, or is it a more tricky
procedure that I have to implement ?
Thanks in advance to all of you who will contribute their competence.

Assuming the upgrade completes without a problem, your files, Outlook
accounts, etc. should be fine. And yes, you install "over" Office XP.
However, *always* backup your data prior to any kind of upgrade. You
never know what may happen.
