Replies freeze and shut down

Outlook 2003,

when I try to reply to a message, oulook 2003 shuts
down. If it does not shut down it freezes then i have to
shut it down anyway. I have the latest patches and I do
not want to have to uninstall and reinstall office 2003.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
