I use this service occasionally...great service... thanks
for everyones help. If I recieve a response to my question
that requires more clarification requested by the
respondant, do I "post reply" or do I click "reply email"
and send the required info? I am loosing communication
after the first reply. Thanks again.

It sounds like "post reply" would be the better choice. That should send
your message to the newsgroup, where many people can read it, and may be
able to help you.

Hi Pat

Better use a Newsreader like OE.
Read this tips from Dave Peterson

You may want to connect to the MS newsgroups directly.

Chip Pearson has some notes written by Leonard Meads at:
http://www.cpearson.com/excel/DirectConnect.htm

David McRitchie's notes at:
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/xlnews.htm

Tushar Mehta's notes at:

Or you can use google (maybe a few hours behind) to search for stuff you've
posted (and find the replies, too)http://groups.google.com/advanced_group_search

Ron de Bruin has an excel addin that you may like:
