Report resource requirement by month by grp(5 Dev in May,7 in Jun

I have a Master Project Plan with several projects in it. Each individual
project has resources assigned. I need a report that I can take to my
resource manager which would forecast my resource needs based on the Master
Project Plan.
e.g Month Developers Testers BAs
April 06 7 2 4
May 06 8 4 2

Etc.

Hi,

Make sure all projects are linked to a resource pool (if necessary look up
the help for resource sharing)
Whether or not they are in a master is irrelevant.
In the pool select Resource Usage View
Make Month the minor timescale
"Close" (little minus sign) each resource
That's it.

If your sub-projects are linked to the master, then you need to create a
resource pool. If however you create weekly masters and do not link to the
sub-projects simply view Resource usage in the master project and change the
timescale to monthly.
