Report the MSP files applied to Admin Point

C

Chas

Hi,

Is there a command I can use to report which .msp files
have been applied to an Office 2003 Administrative
Installation Point?

I just want to be able to confirm that a particular patch
has been appled or not.

Thanks
Chas

Hi Chas,

There is an inventory tool in the Toolbox of the Office Resource Kit that is updated from time to time to include the latest updates
http://microsoft.com/office/ork/2003 . There are also MS Knowledge Base articles for each update that list what files are changed
so you can check those to see what's installed. When you're using an Office admin point the installation is recached to the client
so you wouldn't find the MSP files on the client, only on the admin point and MSP files when applied directly to a client don't
retain their original naming when stored on a client.
