Research sources database template

Looking for an Access db template that can be used to aggregate sources and
summaries of data (and link field to related electronic documents) for
research projects -- primarily historical sources such as newspaper articles,
but can be useful for reviews of literature on any academic/research topic.
Helpful features would be fields for standard bibliographical citations,
keyword search, rich-text field(s) to capture cut-and-paste info, and hotlink
field (as noted).

For my specific historical research, it would be useful to have at least two
date fields -- one for date of publication of the source, and another to
record the actual date of the event on which the source is reporting.

Hi. I have been searching -- literally, for years -- for the same sort of
template. At one point I started designing one -- a sort of "encyclopedia"
for the wide variety of information and research I have collected over 4
decades.

Strangely, the landscape has seemed void of such a template. Though I
continue to look.

I have found some close facsimiles, but they either have not been
Access-based, or the process of syncing them to Access would be too time
consuming.

One of the closest database designs I have discovered is the "Knowledge Base
Organizer Deluxe" -- http://www.primasoft.com/.

It's a flexible system. While not built with Access, it certainly could be
the model for an Access template. One of these days I may spend some time
trying to make it interact with Access.

I have found a couple of other models -- but I've remained stubborn in my
search for an Access solution -- that should exist, and for which one should
not need to spend money.

So I continue to look.

If you find a template, I would appreciate if you could let me know.

Thanks,
Aaron
