Resetting keyboard value

Somehow my "/" key (in Excel only) has been set to go to "File".

I was typing "/Ip...." when the change occurred, so I don't know if I accidentally hit one of the buttons around the "/" key or the Shift key......but now when I try to put "/" in the cell, it acts as a shortcut to "File"

Does anyone know how it may have been set and how to set it back?

Sharon,

Go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the Transition tab.
There, clear the "Microsoft Office Excel menu key" option.
