Resize Word's window very small?

My code opens and closes documents, causing the documents windows to "flash"
rapidly. I thought if there was a way to resize these windows after they
open to very small squares, I could minimize the "flashing" effects. Can
this be done in VBA?

Try this to minimize the windows
Application.WindowState = wdWindowStateMinimize

Or alternatively, play with
Application.ScreenUpdating=false
and
Application.ScreenUpdating=true
(make sure you always have the true in there!)
