How can I increase the page resolution

How can I increase the page resolution in Publisher. I am creating a brochure
in Publisher, then open it in Adobe Photoshop to add text, but resolution is
Publisher is only 150. Can I increase the resolution to 300 in Publisher?

Publisher doesn't have an internal resolution, it stores all objects at
their original resolutions. Only when exporting as an image file is
resolution relevant. Export resolution is set in the Save As dialog in
all versions of Publisher released in the last 6 years.

Why are you adding text in Photoshop?

How can I increase the page resolution

Hi Ed-
Thank you for answering my question. Yes, when I save the Publisher file as
a jpg, open it in Photoshop, the resolution is at 150, and I need it to be
300. I am adding the text in PHotoshop because I thought the resolution at
150 in Publisher was not high enough for quality print.
Also, when I took my jpg files to the printer, this is what they told me to
do, i.e., import images into Publisher, then save as a jpg, open in Photoshop
and add text. Does it make any sense to you?

Hi again-
Also, if I were to print the brochure in Pupblisher, what resolution would
it be?
Thank you.

Not really. Saving as JPEG rather than a lossless format loses rather a
lot of clarity.

Like I said, the only time Publisher uses a 150ppi resolution is when
you export as an image.

At whatever the resolution of your printer is. Depending on your
printer, this might be 300, 600, 1200 or even 2400dpi.

If you print to a PDF to give to your printer, then text and WordArt
added in Publisher will not have a resolution, as it will be stored as
curves (infinite effective resolution). The resolution of imported
images would depend on your PDF settings.
