Resource assignment at the Summary level

Does assigning resources at the summary level mess up the leveling feature
in MS Project?

Hi Robert,

This is a clear question and the answer is YES, most of the time.

Since leveling only shifts tasks, having a resoruce overallocated through a
combination of an assignment to a task and its summary task, leveling cnnot
resolve that: when it shoifts the subtask, in the end it will also stretch
the summary task and the overallocation is eternal.
