I have defined email addresses for all of the resources in my Project plan.
When sending out TeamStatus requests, I was expecting that those email
addresses would be used for the emails. That's the way that help describes
it should happen anyway! However, when the emails are being generated,
Project is accessing my Outlook email addresses instead of just using the
addresses supplied on the resource sheet. Is there a setting someplace that
needs to be adjusted? While the addresses are correct in both places, and
Project ultimately actually sends to the address in Project, it is painful to
have to select YES for each recipient as Outlook asks me if I want to allow
another program to access email addresses stored in Outlook.
Any guidance is appreciated!
