Resource on holiday

If a resource is on holiday and I set their time on the calendar to be non-
working time, how does MS Project behave? Does it automatically extend the
elapsed duration to incorporate the timeline that the resource is away? Is
there a way to prevent that from happening? Many thanks

Hi Jackie,

Yes that's what Project does, it extends the elapsed duration.
To avoid that you can
- decrease duration accordingly
- not enter the holidays in the calendar

Cause by all means, Project will schedule the duration of the task during
working time!
