Resource View Filtered by RBS

Hello
on my test PS 2007 site I have RBS defined as follows:
1. Technical Director
1.1 Project Director
1.2 Analyst Functional Leader
1.2.1 Analyst 1
1.2.2 Analyst 2
.....................
1.2.N Analyst N
1.3 Java Functional Leader
1.3.1 Java Dev 1
1.3.2 Java Dev 2
......................
1.3.N Java Dev N
I hope this is OK for MS Project .

Now, I wish to allow 1.2 (Analyst unctional leader) to see availibility of
his functional team members in the resource center.I would like to allow him
to see assignments and free time but ONLY for his team, and ONLY
workload/free time data.

I copied the Resource Managers category and assigned it directly to 1.2 (I
know it is not recommended but for tests it is easier to manipulate than via
group).
Limiting access to Enterprise Resource Data works fine.
For my new category I unchecked all checkbox related to projects, and for
resources I set
for
"All current and future resources in Project Server database "
"Apply the above Resource security permissions to all resources where:"
"They are descendants of the User via RBS"
I expeted to see only leafs from 1.2 node of RBS but I still can see all
resources defined.
I'm sure I did something wrong, but after about 2 hours of manipulating I
have no idea what.
(of course I can limit access to resources manually just by putting them in
the list instead of setting permissions for "all current and future" but this
is idea with no future)
(the same behaviour is for all others RBS filters in resource management
permisions, like "They are direct descendants of the User via RBS" or
"They have the same RBS value as the User")

Anoyone can help??

BTW. ANyone knows when 2007 MS DOc will be available? It is hard job to
learn 2007 studying 2003 documentation... you never know what was changed,
which behaviour was modified....

OK,It works now exactly as I wish.
You need to know, that for RBS resource filtering, at the category level in
Resource settings area you need to check "Only the resources indicated: " and
not select any of the resources. Next you can select the proper RBS filter.
RBS filter will work for all resources.

Thank for your words.
If one use solutions found by others, sharing their own is just a duty :)
