Restore Outlook 2003

I had a problem with my HD which required reformatting the drive.
Fortunately, I did have my outlook.pst file backed-up. I have now
reinstalled Windows XP Pro and MS Office 2003. When I entered Outlook, I did
not see my email messages or contacts. So, I copied my backed-up copy of
outlook.pst to the outlook directory (beneath the My Documents directory)
and clicked File/Open/Outlook Data File. Then they appeared in separate
places on my screen. I have several questions at this point.

1. Have I proceeded correctly so far in trying to get back to my original
state before the HD problem?
2. Do I move (ie copy and delete) the email messages from the new Folders
at the bottom to my "Personal Folders" at the top and then "Close" the
folders at the bottom? If I do that, won't I have some excess baggage? Is
there a cleaner way to do it?
3. In my contacts screen, I have nothing in my contacts folder. Howver,
all the contacts are in folders named "Contacts in Bob's Folders" and "Old
Addresses in Bob's Folders". I know how to copy the contacts from "Contacts
in Bob's folders" to "Contacts" (and the same for the other 2). However,
when I do that, my contacts appear in a view that I do not like. I created
5 views formerly which I liked (which do show up in the navigation pane when
I click on "Contacts in Bob's Folder"). Is there a way to copy those 5
Views over to the regular Contacts folder and avoid having to create them
all over again?
4. I had also made several additions to the standard toolbar which is seen
in the Contacts window and the one seen in the Inbox window. Is there a way
to copy those toolbars over and avoid having to recreate them?

Thank you so very much.

You'll find most of your questions answered by setting the restored pst-file
as the default delivery location in Tools -> E-mail Accounts -> button Next.
Feel free to check back if you have open questions left after that.

Thanks Roady. That helped a lot.
