Restricted project display - Gantt chart

Hello,

I would like to display my project Gantt chart from a set date moving
forward, while hiding the past history. Is this possible?

It depends on how you want it. You can apply a date range filter
(Project, Filtered for, Date range). Enter the date you want to start
the Gantt from (probably, if I'm interpreting you correctly, today's
date, and, if you want to see the rest of the project, the end date.
If you save this filtered view as your default view, it would ask you
for the date range when you open Project, so it would be almost
automatic. To fully automate it, you'd need a VBA macro.
