reverse animation

Hi
I'd like to wipe an object off of a slide: make it
disappear instead of appear.
Any help out there?

Depends on the version of PowerPoint you are using, Martin.

PP 2002(XP) and 2003 have exit animations that are exactly what you are
asking for.

PP 2000 and before can have the effect faked using semi-duplicate slides and
transitions, or multi-layer animations.
