Reverting back to slide

I want to be able to stop my presentation and have a particular slide come
up. How can I do this?

You can add an action button, then have the action setting set to "Hyperlink
to:".
Select the slide you want it to go to and click OK. Is that what you want?

That's close but what I'm wanting to do is have a slide that I can set a
command on that will pop up if I have to stop my presentation before the end.

A trick... (Note that this only works when the presentation is running.)
Make sure that the slide you want to pop up is the last slid in the
presentation. When you are running the presentation, use the keyboard to
type 9999 and then the enter key. this will take you to the last slide in
the presentation. Does that do what you need to do?

Another alternative is to do what tholz is suggesting, but put the button on
the master slide. It will then appear on every slide using that master (as
long as nothing on the slide covers it).

Adding to kathy's solution, pressing End key on your keyboard works too.
(Home key for first slide and End key for last slide).
