Help
I would like to ask whether there's a way to choose connection method
(rpc/https or rpc/tcpip) for my outlook. Below is my scenario:
Our exchange server is located @ London and my office is @ Singapore.
There's a corporate policy to configure client's outlook to use the rpc/tcpip
connection. However, the vpn has not been very stable and users are
complaining their outlook is slow.
To resolve this problem temporary, i've configured their outlook to have 2
profiles (TCPIP and HTTPS) seperately. If the event the VPN tunnel is down,
users will switch to HTTPS profile. However, HTTPS profile's ost are not
updated due TCPIP prpfile is frequently used.
Please advise is there a way for users to change the connection method (I've
tried configuring HTTPS as the default profile and from the connection
status, it's always connected using HTTPS even the computer is connected in
Singapore Office LAN)
