I have a user who keeps losing the ruler at the top of the document, they're
using Office 2003, I have ruler check marked in the view tab, but we
continue to loose it from doc to doc.

Any help would be appreciated.

It has happened to me on occasion. I just redo the "view" ruler.

Someone on this board said that in some layout views, it is not visible.
I primarily use "Print layout view" and "Normal view". You can
changes these views by selecting one of four small icons on the bottom
left. Just hover over each to see what they are called.

Maybe they accidently change the Normal template. Each new documents
should say (on an elementary level, assuming you don't want something
different) "Normal" in the top left corner of the document.

In Word, hit F1 for Help. Key NORMAL.DOT or NORMAL TEMPLATE in the
available box. Read what it has to say about this.

Hope this is of some help to you,

LC
