Hello all,
I've seen a few posts in this newsgroup in regards to the problem I'm seeing
with a specific rule not firing, but I haven't found a solution as of yet -
maybe someone could help? I'm running a fully patched version of Outlook
2003 connecting to a mailbox on a fully patched Exchange Server 2003 server.
I have a rule set up that is supposed to automatically delete all messages
from a specific email address. If I run this rule manually, it works just
fine, but the rule will not process incoming messages automatically - if I
want the rule to run, I always have to run it manually. It's the only rule
I have set up. The same rule exported from my account into a different user
account on a different system will automatically fire, so the problem seems
to be limited to just my user account. I've tried setting Outlook to run in
both cached and non-cached Exchange mode, but it has no effect on the rule.
Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can fix it?
