I'm getting bombarded with the various worms circulating the internet these
days. Most come in the form of the cumulative microsoft patch, etc.
I set up a rule in outlook 2000 to automatically delete these messages.
On some emails it works but then there are others where I get the error
message:
"You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation".
The worst part about is that then the rule gets automatically checked off
and even the messages that normally delete don't and I come in to work to
find about 100 of these emails sitting in my inbox.
It's really become a nuisance since there's always one or two real emails
mixed in and then all day long these emails come in and I have to stop what
I'm doing and check.
My local user and domain user security is administrator level for both so
I'm pretty sure it's not a windows security problem.
But why would Outlook not allow me to delete certain messages automatically?
