Rules not working

Outlook version: 2000
Exchange Server: 2000

We have client side rules that have ceased working, work
fine if we use the Run Now option but other wise ignores
the rule as new emails are received. The function of the
rule is to move the incoming email from the inbox to a
public folder.

I'm using Outlook 2002, and my Rules also only work sporadically. Its
quite annoying. I was in an interview over @ MS a couple of months
back and one of the guys was saying that he knew how to fix it, but I
never actually got the answer out of him. DARNIT!

I too would REALLY appreciate some info on this!
