Hey, I'm having a major problem, using multiple pst files.
Basiclaly, my mai pst file got to be about a gig in size,
and I decided it was time to break it up for management
sake. I've created two new pst files to use along wiht
the main one, and moved all the emails across all three.
I noticed when I did this, it reset all of the "specified"
mail folders in my rules. OK, so I went through and put
where I wanted things to go in the rules.
Problem is... now when I check my mail, with the rules
turned on, it hangs up.
If I turn the rules off, it checks fine. If I run the
rules manually, they run fine.
It only locks up when I automatically set it to run the
rules when checking email.
I have spent three days trying to find a solution in the
knowledge base, and the only thing even remotely similar
to this was an Exchange Server problem (no, I don't use
Exchange) which was resolved with a service pack. Both
Windows XP and Office XP on my computer are completely
patched and updated (according to MS website).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
