Rules Wizard - Size limitations (Exchange Server)

Outlook 02 sp 3; I don't know what version of Exchange Server (98% of my
rules are moving emails from Exchange server to .pst files)

1) How do I find out how big my Rules Wizard "file" is? I keep getting a
"no room on the server" error message.

2) I saw on KB article 241325, that you can reduce the size of each rule by
using distribution lists instead of listing individual people when acting on
the sender or recipient of an email. However, when I tried this, I received
the following error, "'My Family' is a personal distribution list that may
not be used with this feature. Would you like to use the individual members
of 'My Family' instead?"

1) You can't. How many rules do you have now and how complex are they?

2) This only applies to server based distributionlists and not the ones you
created in Outlook.

I have 26 rules. I would say that 20 of them are: Emails from XYZ move to
XYZ folder; Emails to XYZ move to XYZ folder. The average count of emails
within each folder would be about 6.

I've never taken advantage of the Categories feature in Outlook. I guess if
I used categories for each email, I could then move the messages based on
category and cut my rules in half.
